Personally, I’ve been seriously eyeing the puppy eyeliner trend for months. There is literally no reason why that can’t be you. New Year’s resolutions don’t have to make you feel bad or set you up for failure. They can be fun AF and you can succeed at each and every one of them. Especially with our help.

The perfect lined lip starts with the right lip liner. You want a liner that doesn’t snag, pull, or leave a chalky finish. The Morphe Soulmatte Filling Gel Lip Liner is ideal for someone just starting out in the lip liner cult or if you just don’t have time for a whole thing. Choose a shade that matches your natural lip color or something that would
flatter your favorite lipstick or gloss shade. Start by drawing an “X” across the top of your lip beneath the Cupid’s bow. Then slightly overly the bow, trailing off near the edges of the top lip. Next, line the very middle of your bottom lip, trailing off before your lip ends. For added dimension and plumpness, then draw a line down the center of your bottom lip. Gently blend and blur before adding your lip balm, gloss, or lip product. Juicy!

HOW TO DO PUPPY EYELINER

 

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been doing the same cat eye with a liquid eyeliner for a decade plus. It always looks bomb, but maybe you wanna switch it up for 2024? The puppy eyeliner trend is subtle, flattering, and cute as hell. Just grab your trusty Felt-TipLiquid Liner (you could also use an eyeliner pencil) and start by lining the upper lash line from the center to the corner and bringing the line down at the corner. Follow the line down to a sharp point. Then use an eyeliner pencil to line your waterline or lower lash line, keeping the inner half of the lower lash line bare. That wasn’t so ruff, was it?
